About Us

Alyssa began her fashion career in New York City shortly after college graduation. Her first job was in a major department store as a visual merchandiser. Following that, she worked for a clothing company as an in-store merchandiser and public relations manager. Then, Alyssa worked at two fashion public relations agencies. 

Soon after, she started her first business, Groove Camp. Focusing on fashion-forward tees and accessories for children, tweens and tweens, Groove Camp sold at major retailers and specialty stores nationwide. After several years, Alyssa was ready for a new challenge and launched two ventures simultaneously.  Fashion Birthday NYC offered vibrant, interactive, birthday party services for tweens. Party Favor Jubilee, an e-commerce website, focused on unique party favors and gifts. Currently, Alyssa owns and operates Chic and Unique, a dynamic subscription pack service for tween and teen girls.

Alyssa grew up in New Jersey and currently lives in New York City.  In her free time, she enjoys interior design, theater and music. Legend has it that Alyssa once attended two Jason Mraz concerts in one day.
